Today I am making Boeuf Bourguignon. It is traditionally a French peasant dish, but it has evolved into one of the more renowned dishes. It is a stew prepared with beef braised in red wine, traditionally red Burgundy, and beef broth, generally flavoured with garlic and onions onions, with pearl onions and mushrooms added towards the end of cooking. Later will be a slideshow of pictures of me making it!!!
